Evansville hosts ISU on Saturday and I think the game could get lopsided...
The Aces just don't have anyone who can match the athletic kids who are ISU's main 3 guys...
One report said Ryan Taylor tried practicing earlier this week and had to cut it off because his pain flared up...that makes it really unlikely 4-5 more days will help, and even if he rested and is better, how good is he gonna be having not practiced in 4 weeks?

I am really interested in one of the other MVC games tonight...
Missouri State hosts Loyola ...and they are two of the teams picked to be the best in the MVC...both have 10 wins already

Have to give some respect to Porter Moser. He??™s brought some good players to Loyola during his time there. Didn??™t he win a post season tournament maybe 3-4 years ago?

        He has,and he is gaining...
but Loyola hasn't been to the NCAA since 1985 and hasn't even been to the NIT since 1980
If you're talking about the CBI- recall when Bradley almost won the CBI & the CIT, fans scoffed and used that as ammo to drum up the "Fire Jim Les" chants...

speaking of that....some miserable BU fans used the "never better than 4th place argument"...

well, Loyola has NEVER been better than 5th in any season of ANY conference, going all the way back to the early Jim Whitesell era..
And Porter himself has never led any team to better than a 5th place finish EVER in his entire head coaching career going all the way back to UALR almost 18 years ago!
(He has 3-5th place finishes in his career, 2-6th, 2-7th, 2-8th, and four 10th & dead last finishes.

Maybe this will be his breakthru year but heck, I sure wish JL had gotten as many accolades for 5th, 7th and 10th when instead he was going to the Sweet 16, winning a dozen post-season games and finishing in the upper half of the Valley FIVE of his final six years at Bradley before getting canned.

Speaking of Loyola, do you remember the great Alfredrick Hughes?

The MVC goes 1-4 in non-conference games. Missouri State beats Loyola in the only conference game-

                Fascinating--and damning--stats about Moser, tornado.
