Final score 75-67 (the broadcast had the score as 75-69)

    Darrell Brown 18
    Elijah Childs 15
    Luuk van Bree 14
    Nate Kennell 12

4 Braves (Thomas, Bar, van Bree, Childs) had 6 rebs
Kennell had 5 asst, Brown 3 asst
Childs & Bar had 2 blocks each

We improved our turnovers - only had 10 officially, but still had too many unforced bad passes
and we missed about 10 layups that were makeable shots....allowing SEMO to hang around

            Learfield

Dave Snell does a super job as always. He has to be one of the premier college basketball broadcasters in the nation.
However, I am getting weary of hearing so much "Learfield- Learfield-Learfield"! I know Dave has no choice in this and I realize that we have contractural obligations with them and that there are some positives for Bradley by aligning with Learfield. BUT, do we have to have such a constant litany of annoying Learfield mentions? After all, this is BRADLEY BASKETBALL not Learfield.

Another terrific game by everyone involved. Great coaching, and excellent play on offense and defense.

Leading scorer- Darrell Brown- 18 points, with help from a bunch of late free thrown. DB was 6-13 from the floor, and 1-3 from three, with 3 assists.

Elijah Childs was impressive with 15 points and a team-high 6 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play. Childs was 3-3 from three! Prior to today, he was 1-3 from three in his first 11 games.
Luuk van Bree was 3-4 from three, and had 14 points in just 13 minutes.
Nate Kennell had 12 points, and a number of fine defensive and hustle plays.
Koch Bar with 8 points and 6 rebounds. All 8 points and 4 of his rebounds were in the 2nd half.
DLO only scored 2 points, but played great defense on the SEMO guards. He played 34 minutes and had no turnovers.
Donte Thomas played very well, but was limited because of foul trouble. he had 6 points and 6 rebounds, and a couple important late free throws.
Hodgson, Stipanovich, and Lundy all played limited minutes, and didn't score, but none of them made mistakes or had turnovers.

              Another enjoyable game to watch!

And as I posted earlier- this is Bradley's 4th non-conference win away from home this season. That equals the total number of non-conference wins away from home in the entire 4 years under Geno Ford.

Plus, Wardle's team last year (2016-17) had 5 wins away from home, including 2 non-conference and 3 conference wins. That makes 9 combined total road and neutral court wins in the last 1?? seasons, compared with the total of only 8 such wins in the entire 4 years under Geno Ford, and we haven't even begun the conference season yet this year!

                had 'em scouted well, too
their top scorer was just 3-12 and their top 3 scorers combined were just 8-26

As I said elsewhere- we have NEVER had 10 wins by December 20, and this is the first time we've been 10-2 since 1987-88

Just got a chance to check on the score! Another slow start but thankfully SEMO isn’t as good as SDSU. I liked seeing low turnovers, low fouls and 4 guys in double figures. Hope we can bring that formula down I-55 to Oxford on Friday and beat Ole Miss so I don’t have to hear about it from my brother in law and his kids when they come up for Christmas.

I snuck away and watched this game on my telephone. I must say that it is extremely encouraging and gratifying to see this team reap some success they have worked hard for. We looked a class above today on the road, and it is really rare to feel that way. pumped for valley play.... I wish we started it at home, but oh well.

D-Lo and J-Hoge were very quiet today, but we have good depth, so if a couple guys don't contribute that normally do, it's ok this season.

                        D. Brown another strong game, and if he keeps it up, will be All-Valley by season's end.

Great to see Luke getting back in the groove. He is so important to our success...seems to get key shots when we need it.

had 2 fouls just 12 min into the game, then picked up a 3rd foul with 6 min left in 1st half..
Then shortly after entering in the 2nd half he picked up his 4th foul...

Kennell, DLO and Brown were doing well and doing a good job on their scorers

MVC cumulative record is currently 80-40 at the end of Wednesday 12/20

OK thanks. When I could get to the game BU had a comfortable 10 Point lead near the end of the 1st half.
