Valparaiso's leading scorer, Tevonn Walker, will not play today at Ball State due to illness. He ranks 4th in scoring among MVC players with an average of 16.4 ppg. -

Elijah Clarance will not play today for ISU in their home game against Murray State, as his blisters are still bothering him. This must be a record-setting case of blisters. David Ndiaye, who was rumored to possibly be playing today, will also remain out. He has not played in any games yet this season after suffering a stress fracture in late October.Comment

One other significant note about ISU- second-leading scorer and top rebounder Phil Fayne will miss today's game. He is traveling to California for his grandfather's funeral.Comment

Taylor Bruninga had a nice 2nd half. But ISU's defense was not very good, and they could not seem to stop the Murray State players from scoring at will.
Indiana State trailed most of the 2nd half at home against D2 Indianaplois, but pulled ahead in the final couple minutes and held on to win 79-75-

Height is definitely helpful, but after years of watching college games I??™m beginning to think strength and bulk is better. Having those 6??™8??? 240 pounders would be my preference over a slender 7 footer.Comment

Drake had a big 2nd half, Timmer had 27 points, and Drake pulled away for an easy win 93-74 over Omaha-
Drake leads the MVC in scoring with 83.1 ppg.
In the final MVC game of the day, SIU trails SEMO 39-28 early in the 2nd half. SIU is shooting poorly and has a lot of turnovers so far.
