Best game I have seen my Aces play this year by far, especially without Taylor. Very surprised Frederking and the Juco from Vincennes are actually productive at the D1 level. Didn't think Frederking was athletic enough and the Juco was such a late signing I wasn't expecting much.
Still not very deep, and have played a very soft schedule like a few other Valley teams who shall remain nameless , but liked what I saw. Are they going to win the conference.....of course not. Are they going to struggle against athletic, long teams.....yes.
Going to be a pretty competitive conference season and the bottom teams seem to be a bit better than the last few years.Cheering with pep and vim for the white and purple!

I didn't watch the game, but I doubt you'll see your team shoot 80% from three again this year, and probably we won't see any MVC shoot like that again this year. The Aces shot 60.7% (34-56) overall, and 80.0% (12-15) from three on the road at Bowling Green, which is not an easy place to play.
Box score for the Evansville Purple Aces vs. Bowling Green Falcons NCAAM game from December 5, 2017 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.
And as you suggested, Evansville has been getting less production from their bench than any MVC team so far this season, but last night they got 23 points and 12 rebounds from their bench. Freshman Noah Frederking, who started the game, had a career-high 14 points, and sophomore Dru Smith had a career-high 25 points. Smith now leads the MVC in assists (5.4 apg) and in 3-point percentage (61.1%)
