MVC ought to go 5-1! MVC is currently 33-11 with 6 of the wins coming over non-DI's

NOTE- according to one of the more commonly cited RPI sources,
Bradley is the ONLY MVC team with both a TOP 100 RPI (62- 2nd best in MVC) and a TOP 100 Strength of Schedule (93- best in MVC)

How does BU have a top SOS in the Valley when I see the likes of Chicago State, SEMO, Eastern Illinois, UTSA, and Missouri Science and Technology on the schedule? Surely those teams would bring down any assessment of strength of schedule and RPI. I appreciate any explanation, thanks.

The SOS he is referring to is based on the teams Bradley has already played. It will drop when Bradley plays some of those lower RPI teams.
And Missouri S&T, like Quincy on ISU's schedule, is a non-Division I, so it won't even count against the RPI or SOS.


BTW, the Missouri Valley is currently ranked 6th in conference RPI-

Evansville lost a tough game in the Cancun Challenge to Louisiana Tech. Evansville lead for most of the final 10+ minutes of the game, but then Lousiana tech came back and took the lead 60-59 on a 3-pointer with 1:43 left. Evansville retook the lead 61-60 on a couple free throws with 12 second left. But then Lousiana Tech made a three pointer with 1 second left to win 63-61.

Valley goes 5-1 with Evansville's loss
overall MVC record is now 38-12 with 9 non-DI wins The MVC is now the 6th ranked conference in RPI

A win Saturday would be huge since Georgia Southern is currently also a top 60 RPI team

Only one MVC game on Thursday- NC State vs. UNI in the Bahamas, 2pm on ESPN2
