Indiana State was leading by 15 to 17 pts most of the game then lost their entire lead in just a 7 minute stretch late in the 2nd half where they were outscored by Ohio 22-5.
Now it's down to the last minute and it's a tie game.
addendum- going to OT at 63-63

Loyola beats Samford 88-67-

Evans was terrific(29 points, 6-6 from three). Yarbrough was great (18 pts, 8 reb, 5 asst). They got good enough support from the other players and dominated the game from the start. Tulsa was picked 8th in the 12-team AAC, but they are still a tough team, and ISU handled them like they were a 300 RPI team. It's hard to figure why they looked so bad against Boise State, and so good tonight against Tulsa, though Boise is probably a better team.

Even Drake is holding their own against Drexel though Drexel was picked last in the CAA preseason poll. Every one of Drake's starters is in double figures with about 10 minutes left in the game and Drake ahead by 7. The MVC is proving to be a little better than I thought they would be against outside competition so far.

Here's one that will surprise some - Northwestern brought down to reality - got crushed by Texas Tech 85-49
The Texas Tech deep subs played much of the 2nd half and were still pulling away from the Northwestern starters

Boise State fought back from 24 points down to get within 4 points with a couple minutes left. But they couldn't get any closer and Iowa State made some free throws to close it out with a 75-64 win to capture the Puerto Rico Tipoff Championship.

I am surprised that we played with 3 scholarship players missing and did as well as we did with such a young team...
