I do not understand why our coaches cannot improve our bad turnover and free throw situations.
In practices, do we full court scrimmage with the coaches stopping action whenever something bad happens such as a turnover or someone out of position on offense and then reviewing the problem. This was a big part of our practices under Stowell and Versace. Also, we don't seem to be 100% focused all the time in games....This is a mental discipline problem which the coaches must address.
Also, do we run competitive free throws with our players at practice or after practice?.....Free throw ladders, etc. or are free throws just an afterthought in pactices?
Do we allow "thread the needle" passes which can result in numerous turnovers.
Again, turnovers and missed free throws are killing us and could ruin what could be a very good season. At this point, these have to be a major concern for our coaches and they must find a way to effectively deal with this.
