ISU is down 22 to Boise State with about 3 minutes left in the first half. Muller is playing a lot of unusual combinations with Hein, Litwiller, and Gassman on the floor.

Their shooting stats are ugly- 7-35 overall (20.0%), and 2-20 (10.0%) from three. Boise State outrebounding ISU 33-15.

I must have missed something...why did Yarbrough sit on the bench most of the half? He only played 6 minutes. He is not in foul trouble (only 1 PF). Is he in Muller's doghouse, or an injury?
If ISU has Litwiller, Hein, and Gassman all playing more than the stars, they are in trouble.

Yarbrough starts the 2nd half on the bench, so clearly he is in Muller's doghouse. My best guess is that Muller called some specific plays and Yarbrough wasn't following his plan. This game appears to be over, as the Redbirds don't appear to have enough talent on the floor to come back.
Yarbrough finally returns to the game with 15 minutes left. ESPN showing a conversation between Muller and Yarbrough, and Muller obviously unhappy with something yarbrough was doing.Comment

Yarbrough is probably being taught a lesson. As basketball fans who appreciate players with talent, let's hope he doesn't have attitude issues like Zach Lofton a few years ago.Comment

Muller has been pretty clear about playing defense or you won't play. Milik was not giving effort on both ends. Also Boise is pretty good.Comment
