Right now I am still cranky with the loss. Our guys gave it everything. The last seconds of that game were so frustrating, because everyone in the building knew they were going to end it with a drive and a foul. There was just no other way the refs were going to let it go.

For me personally it was more disappointing than encouraging. This one was there for the taking at the end.

Encouraged

I am encouraged by this game. Sure, I am disappointed we lost, but with Koch not on the island and 19 turnovers, we only lost by a point to a team that nearly beat Kentucky. When we were down by 8 in the first half, we showed guts and determination and came roaring back. I think that is big for our Braves. They've grown up a lot. It is going to be a much better season.

I agree. The last 6 years, we would have gotten behind, become deflated, and gotten blown out of this game. The team is showing more maturity, and playing much harder than we've see for several years. If Koch Bar plays, I think we win this game. Elijah Childs was terriffic. Donte, Brown, Hodges, Stipo, and Kennell all played very well. We need to get ore from a couple other guys, but I think it will come.

I think Bradley more than held their own against a good team. I'm actually surprised somewhat that the game was this close. A good harbinger for the Hilltop?

I have to think that Koch Bar would have made a big difference.

Better FT shooting would have done it, too.

Brown not fouling out with two seconds remaining would most likely have sent the game into overtime. His brain f@rt simply gave the game to Vermont.

I agree O'B. We should be able to get by Tx-SA pretty easily. Weber State should get by James Madison. And I think we can beat Weber State but it won't be an easy win.
