Childs, Stipanovich, and Lundy all looked very good for being new to Division I.
Childs had a team-leading 8 rebounds in just 17 minutes, and he was 3-4 from the floor, although he seemed not to be looking to score.
Stipo returned from the bleeding wound to play even better. He had 7 rebounds and a couple nice assist passes in 17 minutes. Wardle praised him the most on the post-game show, and said he wants him to look more to score, which he is definitely capable of.
And Lundy played well at the point guard position late in the game, despite being hounded by a couple smaller, quicker guards from RMU. He had 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 13 minutes.
Everyone else looked good, except Luuk's shot was way off. Hopefully that will correct. Barker, DLO, Kennell, and Jojo were most impressive. It's going to be hard to find playing time for so many guys capable of helping this team, but it looked like the team played best when Kennell and DLO were on the floor with Brown, Bar, and Childs or Luuk, IMO.
Next preseason game is Saturday, Nov. 4 in a closed scrimmage against UIC.
Peoria, Ill. – The Bradley men's basketball team dominated the paint en route to a 30-point victory in its final exhibition game of the 2017-18 preseason. The Braves outscored Robert Morris by 34 points inside as BU cruised to the 87-57 victory.
I know it's just 2 pre season games but I like our aggressiveness on offense and I like the fact that their doesn't seem to be too much drop off whoever is coming off the bench which could make us a tough team to guard. Hopefully we'll get off to a good start and get some momentum going early in the season. Looking forward to it!
Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye was named the Ameren Illinois Player of the Game- He had 17 points (7-10 overall, 2-4 from three), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and zero turnovers in just 22 minutes of play-
Attendance 4248, prob the lowest paid attendance for a game at Carver that was part of the season ticket plan...
Numbers should improve a lot now that World Series over and the next game is a regular season game, but it still hurts to see how badly our program was annihilated by the former administration.

Part of me feels like we'll never draw the 10 and 11 thousand people that we used to even if this team starts to win...
