I was just reading it and about to post about it...
read this line... "Moving to 20 league games is going to change the entire model. They want to
wipe out the non-Power 5 schools from getting at-large bids completely,” one
unnamed Big Ten athletic director (said)..."
this is a direct result of the past decade almost every year we had midmajors cracking the Final Four, Elite Eight & Sweet Sixteen every year and they big schools will do whatever it takes to stop that.
Following the model set forth by Creighton and Wichita should be the goal. The Valley is a sub par conference. While touting a strong basketball tradition, the competition has been lacking. If you look across the board in every other sport as well, the Valley is falling behind. If Bradley can string together success and become a better program, I believe we should find a way out.

but that model says one team should get good then leave the rest of the MVC behind..
That is not what I want. I want to see every team in the MVC get strong again like we all were back in 2007...when every member had an RPI of 100 or better and in both 2006 & 2007 there were 6 or 7 MVC teams with RPI's good enough for at large bids.

Agree and great point! If Bradley becomes strong again, but the rest of the Valley does not, then our RPI can be higher, but mean less. Lets get the whole Valley up in RPI. If Bradley gets there alone and the others can't join us, maybe it is time to look to a stronger league? If Bradley is strong and the rest of the Valley is not, then it will be harder to get into the top 25. If I had a choice, the entire Valley would be strong. That's the best. I think Bradley has turned the ship and is on the way up. Go Coach Wardle!
