    Final score:
    White 34
    Red 10

The scrimmage was played with a running clock, except for timeouts, so it went very quickly. The white group looked real good.

    Dunk contest now starting.

    About 1000 fans in attendance.

Dunk winner was JoJo, who edged Donte Thomas and Elijah Childs.

this was lopsided from the start

all of the players on the WHITE team are or have been starters
All of the players on the RED team are new guys, subs or a walk-on

so I expected the lopsided score

BUT intense defense was played - something very unusual in an intrasquad scrimmage

        agree with about 1000 attendance.

Impressed with Elijah Childs- he contested and altered every shot near the basket - and had a block or two.
He can create his own shot down low but hasn't refined his scoring touch yet...

Luuk was shooting well, Donte and Jojo are so quick - and I don't think we have had a player like Jojo who can get his head above the rim - since Chris Roberts

One funny play- Coach Wardle was standing on the sidelines waving his arms to signal something to one of the players and Childs musta though he was open and wanted the ball - so passed it to him!

this was the most confident, well conditioned, aggressive and quickest preseason game I have seen since the year before we went to the Sweet Sixteen (fall of 2005)...
I have a very good feel about this season...
Of course we will know a little more Thursday but I predict we handle Lewis pretty well...
