Yes, ISU had a better record in the non-conference season when Eldridge wasn't starting. However, the teams Eldridge is starting against now, in conference are just alittle bit better than the non-conference foes that ISU played.

I just remember you saying that Eldridge's college game would suffer because all the kid could do was dunk.

And now when the guy is averaging close to 6 boards in MVC games, you spin away....

You might want to actually see the guy play, before jumping to conclusions about him.

I would take OE on BU in a second. He would fit perfectly into our offence and thats why Coach Les wanted him. That said, he is going to get spanked tommorow night!

I didn't say exactly that, I said that he got a whole lot of his points in high school by simply being way more athletic than his HS opponents and going thru and over them.

Again, I made the point that he is not a particlarly great outside shooter, and the facts do support me. If he were on the Bradley Braves with his present shooting stats, he be pretty close to the worst 3-point shooter on the team, and I have shown that time and again with fatcs and stats.
He looks pretty good, however when put up against the shooting on the Redbirds.

And I am pretty sure I never said he couldn't rebound, none the less, I have already given a bit of a "Mea culpa" and said I eat my words on whether he'd be able to do much as a freshman. He has proven a bit wrong on that, as he is doing pretty good for a freshman.
I have said He IS doing considerably better than I have thought, and have also said from day one, that I know BU and Jim Les liked him and wanted him, just that I thought he'd struggle a bit more as a frosh.
