It was nice to see the video from the sports segment on your local station. I really appreciate the postings of these kinds of things. You can feel the confidence at a higher level now.
In the past, I have always had a hard time understanding how a lack of experience could hinder a team all that much. After all, the players are talented and skilled, so why can't they just play well when the team is young..from the get-go? Watching the Wardle era closely since it began, mostly via Bradleyfans.com, I can see the experience helping us as the team gets older. I am optimistic about this coming season and how much better this team is going to be. Last year, I think we won 4 games in a row at the very end of the season. So I can see how experience can be huge in winning games, even when the team has the same talent all season. It is like an intangible.
in two of those videos you can see Kirk Wessler interviewing players/coaches...
and yet he has not written a thing about Bradley basketball in over 6 months...
Does anyone else recall when we were really bad...I mean horribly bad in the Geno era - Kirk wrote non-stop trying to push the claim that we really were light years better and that all the bad stuff, cancellation of the ITOO & attendance slide was caused by Jim Les & Ken Kavanagh
and if you go back farther - he wrote non-stop "beating the drum" against Jim Les & calling for his firing and cheering on the housecleaning that set Bradley back almost a decade, and attacking Bradley for having "secret plans for campus expansion" when the entire plan had been presented publicly and was on display just outside Jim Les' office.
edit - on Wed. morning Kirk Wessler tweeted for the first time about basketball since last July when The Basketball Tournament was being played on campus, so I guess he's waking up
