TOUGH TOUGH task...just like UE will be tough. But BOY would THAT shake up the Valley.
Oh, I agree, deffinately one of the toughest games we'll play, but I can't say I don't think we have a good shot at it.

Sweet. Thank you, Evansville. Now, we just need to take care of our business tomorrow night.

This loss will make it almost impossible for SIU to win the conference champ.

              How do you figure?

              Here are the standings:

              CU.....5-2
              MSU...5-2
              SIU....5-3 (0.5 gb)

SIU still has 2 games left with Creighton and 1 game left with MSU.

We aren't even half-way thru the MVC schedule and you are counting out a team that is 1/2 game out of first place???

That seems alittle premature to me.

                It is very premature.
If anything has been seen so far, it's that anyone can beat anyone on a given night.

In one other really great game last night that wasn't an MVC game,
Auburn upset #22 ranked Tennessee, 83-80.

Bruce Pearls kids at Tennessee have been playing well until recently and knocking off tough opponents, but Bruce still found a way to lose this game.

With the game neck and neck over the final few minutes, Bruce Pearl picked up a technical foul with 22 seconds to go, and Auburn's Quan Prowell made FOUR free throws (two for a foul and the two technical shots), to give Auburn the 3 point victory.
Ex-SIU commit Josh Tabb was scoreless.

Tennessee drops to 1-2 in the tough SEC and has now lost three in a row.

Real fan, as of 1/23 :

                    SIU 7-3

                    UNI 6-3
                    Creighton 6-3

Still think that loss back on 1/17 made it almost impossible for SIU to win the conference championship?????
