Western Illinois is doing really bad.
They are in the middle of an 8-game losing streak, they are losing big to just about everyone,
Their RPI is #335, and they seem to be going South in Coach Derek Thomas' 4th year.
Now, even one more bit of bad news as one of their best chances in this year's recruiting class,
Lebanon's Chris Williams, is going to be a non-qualifier and likely will head the juco route.

Macomb, Ill. is not exactly paradise plus there is no easy way to get there; I was told the golf course was really nice so a group of 16 of us went to play there in sept; 5 of the greens on the front 9 were pretty much un-playable so I doubt I go back to Macomb again as they can"t even take care of a golf course in farm country.
