I know it's not the same but...consider how exciting this is...
The Basketball Tournament: 200 teams applied for entry - 76 were accepted (16 teams played for the final four spots in the Jamboree)
Now only SIXTEEN remain and once again BRADLEY is in the SWEET SIXTEEN of a MAJOR NATIONAL TOURNAMENT!!
We have been fortunate since 2006 (barely more than a decade ago).....
as our guys have made at least the SWEET SIXTEEN of a major national tournament SEVEN different times!!!
2006 - NCAA Tournament SWEET SIXTEEN (Great memories and we're on the way to doing it again soon!)
2007 - NIT SWEET SIXTEEN
2008 - CBI Championship Game
2009 - CIT Championship Game
2013 - CIT Elite Eight (hard to believe but Walt Lemon, DSE & Will Egolf led us to the Elite Eight of this tourney also. In fact 67 of our 75 pts vs Green Bay were scored by the "holdovers" from the JL era)
2016 - TBT Final Four (the fluke Ruffin injury cost BU a shot at the title)
2017 - TBT SWEET SIXTEEN (Go Braves - all the way!!)
