They finally get on the board for 2018 after their Final Four run...
Tykei Greene from Long Island (NY) Lutheran is variably described a 6-2 to 6-4, shooting guard who also had offers from Robert Morris, Drexel, Manhattan, Niagra, CCSU, Towson & Tulane.

Jimmy Beane is a cousin of former SIU star Anthony Beane, and his brother, 2018 SIU commit Darius Beane. He is a 6'5", 215-pound shooting guard from Potter House Christian Prep School in Jacksonville, Florida. He reportedly averaged 19.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 4.1 apg at last season.

SIU already has all 13 scholarships committed for 2018-19, so someone on their roster is apparently going to get some bad news.

I couldn??™t agree more. Anymore there appears to be more and more glee with the misfortune of other teams in the league and those that once were.

Birds appear to have gotten another transfer. Keith Fisher from SJSU. Will sit one and have three years. He was a redshirt freshman but it was due to a torn ACL.

wow - solidly cementing the honor of Transfer U to ISU...
that will be eight new players on the roster next year, TEN if you count Chastain & Romine, not to mention several others who were walk-ons, deep-subs & garbage time guys, and guys whose playing time was reduced & rotation spots demoted down the stretch....
Still mind-boggling that they can bring in 9-10 new guys when only ONE player is actually leaving school! I guess there's still a fair amount of news as to who is losing their scholarship or roster spot.

...practically a total rebuild save for the "Big Three"....altho a few won't be eligible...
Fisher would obviously be expecting a scholarship which thus means yet someone else is gonna have their ride yanked..
But now it is obvious why Muller courts so many walk-ons, as he's got about 1/4 of his roster sitting out due to transfer
...one rumor floating around is that highly touted juco Copeland is not gonna be eligible...time will tell........

Keith Fisher was a teammate at San Jose State with another ISU transfer Jaycee Hillsman. So ISU Coach Muller is raiding the roster of one of the worst teams in NCAA. SJSU was 4-26 (only 3-26 against Division I) this past season.

But Fisher redshirted in 2016-17 at SJSU (due to an ACL injury he suffered in high school), and he played as a redshirt-freshman this past season (2017-18 ). And he will have to sit out another year before becoming eligible in 2019-20. So I am not sure he would be eligible for 3 years at ISU unless he could get a 6th year waiver from the NCAA.

And, doesn't that put Muller 2 or 3 scholarships over the limit? Who is leaving?

Even with Madison Williams going off the books as a scholarship player, it's still looking like there are at least 15 scholarship players for 2018-19-

doesn't this now mean ISU has plucked TWO players off San Jose State's roster, neither one of which was their leading scorer? So a team that went 4-26, and was one of the worst teams in the nation is becoming ISU's farm team?
They did play one MVC team last year - SIU clobbered them- Fisher had 3 pts...

Every year we read here how bad ISU??™s recruits are. Overrated, mediocre transfer from a horrible team, rumored to be ineligible, criminal, cancer on the team, wishes he had stayed where was, speeding tickets, too many transfers, not enough balls for all the selfish players, ect. Muller deserves coach of the year every year for winning with that mess.
