So far in the first 9 rounds of the MLB Baseball Draft, a few MVC players have been drafted...plus one local kid

Rounds 1 & 2, as well as the two supplemental rounds (now called Competitive Balance Rounds A & B) were Monday, 6/12. Rounds 3-10 were today (Tuesday 6/13). And rounds 11-40 will be Wednesday, 6/14.

That list is sortable by draft order, round, or prospect rank. It also allows searching by position, team, school, state, etc.

A couple more MVC players were selected in round 10- The NY Yankees selected Chad Whitmer, a right handed pitcher from SIU with the 17th pick in the 10th round (302nd pick overall). And Trey Turner, a right handed pitcher from Missouri State University was selected by the Washington Nationals with the 28th pick in the 10th round today (314th pick overall).
That's a total of just 7 MVC players drafted in the first 10 rounds.

And through 10 rounds so far, no Bradley players have been drafted (none were projected to be likely draftees).

The MLB draft completed today, and the MVC ended up with a total of 24 players drafted.
