Penny Hardaway has had a terrific recruiting class for his second year in a row. Memphis should be pretty good for the next couple years.

One-time 2019 Bradley recruit Damion Baugh rose to become a 4-star recruit. He ended up with multiple high-major offers, and eventually committed to Memphis. He was a regular starter his freshman season, but this year as a sophomore, his playing time dropped and he no longer was starting.

Yes. There must be something strange going on at Memphis. In addition to Baugh and Nesbitt (both 4-star recruits), sophomore Boogie Ellis (also a 4-star recruit who initially committed to Duke), sophomore D.J. Jeffries (another 4-star recruit who initially committed to Kentucky), redshirt-junior Lance Thomas (another 4-star recruit), and Ahmad Rand are all transferring.
