Multiple sources have confirmed that Oklahoma is now working on bringing in Illinois State's MiKyle McIntosh for a

Nice find B-16 - I am pretty confident he's gonna go to a school with a high probability of going to the NCAA, and even tho he's putting his name in the NBA Draft, does anyone believe he's gonna get drafted?

The big rumor that just cropped up about half an hour ago is that MiKyle McIntosh will follow his assistant coach to Wisconsin with Illinois and Minnesota also making a play for him
Minnesota would have to do some shuffling as they have no open scholarships right now but both Wisconsin and Illinois have multiple and also have the availability for instant playing time.

the list of players who are invited to the NBA Draft Combine has leaked out...
It is well known that if you aren't being invited then it is highly likely you won't be getting drafted...
(the expected Lottery picks often don't go but will have private workouts with teams)

So, the list has these notable exclusions who really ought to head back to school if they still have eligibility, or plan to play overseas...
So MiKyle McIntosh ought to be thinking this over pretty carefully..

I've not payed too much attention; did he sign with an agent?

I have not seen any report that he has signed with an agent.

I am pretty sure he has not and will end up going to some other school - one rumor says Illinois wants him - and will become a grad transfer

So then there isn't much to worry about if he doesn't get drafted. There will be a team somewhere in a power conference that will have an opening. Even if he lands at a bad team in the pac12 or wherever, he can prove himself against tougher competition. Maybe he can garner a better draft stock that way.

I definitely understand why he decided to leave. Isu isn't going to be as good as last year (although in a wichita-less valley they are favorites to make the ncaa tourney). If some team gets desperate and drafts him the 2nd round then Macintosh starts making money now. If he doesn't get drafted he at least hears what the nba teams think of him and how he can improve in their eyes. Go to a bigger conference and "prove" himself while showing growth in the areas the nba tells him are weak. All in all little downside for him personally.

Shows that he had little faith in isu or their coach. Not something you want to see if you are a redbird fan. Also shows how weak players see the valley to be right now.

Many of today's athletes have their priority lists something like this

                1- me
                2- my NBA potential
3- my desire to be famous
                4- my stat line
5- my chance to be the prima donna on the team
6- what my handlers tell me to do
7- what my (friends) in the hood tell me I should do
8- what I read about me on Twitter & Facebook
9- how much playing time and how many shot I get
10- how many times someone strokes MY EGO...
                .
                .
                .
                .
1,000,000- loyalty to my team and the pledge that I gave to play for them
