One line is interesting-
Tauai said he might consider lacing up his sneakers again this summer if the Bradley alums need him for the TBT basketball tournament. But he said he's happy now just being a dad and a cop.

JJ Tauai's daughter is quite an athlete

as a high school freshman, she has the one of the fastest times in the state for each of these events..

100 meter, 200 meter, 4x100m Relay, 4x200m, 4x400m Relay and 800 meter
plus she also has competed and won meets in high jump as well...
Here's JJ's comments after her last meet..

"1st in the 100m
1st in the 200m
1st in the 800m
2nd in high jump (made her push the car home for not getting 1st)
She ran the 200m about 10min after the 800m..."
