I heard a rumor that another player could be leaving.I had heard Brown's Dad wanted him to possibly go to another school,he was not happy with the direction of the program.Da coach or anyone else hear anything about this?Could this be why Wardle got another guard who can play point?

If this is true it smells like another school has been tampering with him..Telling him he can do better.. If that is the case I hope Bradley does not put up with that. They should a) not let him out of his scholarship, b) legally go after the school that is doing the tampering ( both Reynolds and the President have law degrees). I am tired of the NCAA allowing these bigger schools to do what they want -
I would ask that the mods remove this discussion - this is 100% pure speculation and gossip...
of course it could happen but it is unfair to discuss unless there are some facts
BTW - even tho his tweets are "protected" - he just recently tweeted
"Thank you God, family,friends, teammates, and coaches! I'll be back and better next season"

we have always treated our own players with a little different rules and tried not to talk about our players leaving or hearsay & unsubstantiated stuff...Comment

I actually heard this rumor back in early January, but I don't know how true it was. More recently I have heard all has been resolved and the latest word is the coaches are not expecting any other changes to the roster.Comment

Bradley started him day 1 so just speculation. However, he is young for his grade so a red-shirt transfer could be a possibility. The new 6-4 pg recruit could be seen as a slap in face maybe.Comment

Come on. It is a fine line between posting rumors, and saying something is fact without substantiation. On one hand, we do not want to speculate about specific players leaving without any verified reports, but when coaches are recruiting to sign more players beyond the 13 allowed scholarships, then it's not against the rules to note the obvious that someone may be leaving.Comment

I am not against recruiting kids who are committed - but Bradley only offered Javon Pickett AFTER he received his full & official release from Illinois.. which instantly qualified him as open & available for recruitment and of course our coach agreed and offered him..
Also - wherever you got the idea I even expressed any opinion about "players leaving Illinois" then you must have misread something because I actually never even commented on that topic.
