  • Bad CBS Telecast

I can't believe how bad the CBS telecast of the NC/Zag finals game is!! While the four analysts are very good, CBS doesn't use them very much at all. The pregame was primarily rock music and commercials with very little basketball analysis of the teams and players.
Virtually every clock stop immediately went to endless commercials and again, no analysis or discussion from the game announcers. Clearly, this is a commercial enterprise for CBS with little regard for presenting a great finals game for their viewers. I hope the NCAA corrects this next year.

And the first half ended at 9:10. It is now past 9:30 and the players are just beginning to come back on the floor. Plus somehow, they found a way to put 15 minutes of commercials into the last 20 minutes.

I mute my tv for most games and especially for nationally televised games with a Power 5 team. I go to computer browsing during commercials. So... whatever they are trying to do, they don't own me.

With all the commercials, I thought I had WMBD radio on.

            Disruptive

There were way too many commercials. I think the amount of commercials affected the flow of the game. I dont feel that either team got into a rhythm for very long. Disappointing broadcast. I may not watch it next year.

I am hoping that the NCAA really goes after North Carolina and we all find out the truth about the deliberate schemes to cheat academically.

I found it amazing that North Carolina had 3 starters from the state of North Carolina while " little ole Gonzaga" didn't have one starter from Washington.
