I doubt if Cal Davis would be too upset if Jim stayed there. Keep up the good work Ciach Les.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

          you gotta be kidding lefty...
Of course you and I know it wasn't likely he'd get hired, and they ended up hiring from within largely to keep their current players like Charlie Moore onboard...

But can you name any other Bradley coach or past coach any time since Versace who has even been seriously considered for a spot at a power-conference school?

The mere fact that Jim Les' name is mentioned - let alone being one of the very FIRST people called in to interview for the spot - hiring for one of the better Pac-12 spots, after taking a struggling newbie in DI that had only been Division I for four years, never won anything, never gone anywhere - and he's won TWO conference Championships as well as been their Coach of the Year....and now getting at least mentioned for big time jobs - is pretty "complimentary" in itself. Maybe the the blogger isn't impressed, but it doesn't say much, since Cal reportedly INTERVIEWED Les.

          Oh, and one more thing....
When rumors abounded that FGCU's head coach Joe Dooley might get offered the Cal job, even the Naples, FL coverage mentioned Jim Les, and I have it from an "inside" source - that if Dooley left then Jim would even be a candidate to replace him at FGCU and would be one of the first calls that their AD would place!

All I said was neither article was very complimentary....

One said it would be an uninspiring hire and the other said it was baffling and easily the least impressive of the bunch....

            I didn't say it.....

And you know Mo was considered and mentioned for a few BCS spots...one that KK wouldn't let him interview for....
