  • Former UW-Green Bay recruit of Brian Wardle now available

Brother of NBA player Enes Kanter...Karem Kanter...
He is a 6-10/240 lb true center...played the last 3 years at Green Bay and was recruited & signed there in 2014 by Brian Wardle...

He is transferring as a grad-transfer and would be eligible immediately
In 2016-17 he started and played 19 minutes per game, averaging 11.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 51% FG%, 64% FT% and rarely got into foul trouble.

Many of his offensive numbers would be welcome on our squad...
Wonder if Coach Wardle will be interested...

Former UW-Gren Bay recruit of Brian Wardle now available

Brian Wardle recruited and signed Kerem Kanter at Green Bay in 2014 out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida-
Kerem Kanter (1) Forward - GREEN BAY CAREER 2015-16 Season (Sophomore) • Notched double-figure scoring games four times, including career-high 12 points twice. • Scored

Kanter is a 6'10", 240 pound forward originally from Turkey, and he is the younger brother of Enes Kanter, who played at Kentucky, was the #3 overall NBA draft pick in 2011, and now plays in the NBA for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kerem Kanter played his freshman (2014-15) at Green Bay under then Head Coach Brian Wardle. Then Kanter remained at Green Bay these last 2 seasons after Wardle left and played for Linc Darner.
He announced he is leaving Green Bay and transferring. He will graduate and have 1 year of eligibility left.

He is also testing the NBA draft, but not hiring an agent, which allows him to return to college somewhere for another season if he wants

He played very little his freshman season under Coach Wardle, 4.3 minutes per game, 1.6 ppg. He played 9.9 mpg and averged 4.0 ppg his sophomore season.
Last season as a junior, he was Green Bay's second leading scorer with 11.3 ppg, and he averaged 6.3 rpg.
Here are his career stats at Green Bay-

Personally, I don't see any chance he ends up at Bradley.

I think I'd take him as My first choice over Johnson with Lundy as my 3rd if he's 6'5".

I'm not interested in another short point guard.

I guess in my perfect world we are 6'5" or taller at the 1 2 and the 3 and 6'9" or taller at the 4 and 5.

My expectations for JO JO and Donte and Child's are very high. Let's do right with this scholly and CHALLENGE FOR THE MVC CROWN NEXT SEASON. I believe. InWardleWeTrust
