Just this hour it is being reported now that we have offered Vance Johnson the athletic forward from Northeast Community College in Nebraska
We have an entire thread on Johnson
A couple of point guards vs a pf/c recruit. Are we back to considering which is of more value to Bradley? Maybe some of the ones mentioned earlier have not expressed any interest in Bradley.
Only our coaches know for sure. Bradley is recruiting additional players than those that have been identified. So who will get the open scholarship is unknown.
Hope to get him committed asap. Been drooling over him for awhile now. I think having him and Child's with the returners has 3rd or better all over it.
Just this hour it is being reported now that we have offered Vance Johnson...
just telling ya what is being REPORTED...it's up to each individual to decide if it sounds accurate...
as noted, it is being reported that we have offered Johnson...those reports come from a couple juco recruiting sites, but do not guarantee they are accurate.
Only time will tell.....
also Vance Johnson's reported other offers include 6 other schools,
not 5 as reported elsewhere New Mexico State, Evansville, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Arkansas-Little Rock, and Kent State
btw- this is the 2nd time recently that a report about a player OFFERED by Bradley was later reversed...it also happened with David Sloan
There could also be academic issues that have to be dealt with, since sometimes junior college credits may not always be accepted at all 4-year colleges. That may be where state schools have an advantage, since they may have lower academic standards or a wider array of curricula that those borderline juco credits can be accepted.
that's what I think is going on with a few of our recruits-
-if you recall, DeAaron Williams was able to get into Wisconsin, Northern Kentucky and other schools, but a lot of his credits would not transfer to Bradley so he couldn't get in...
