Not sure who we might be looking at or recruiting but I have to believe our staff is there keeping an eye on things..


In Game 1 a kid named Adarius Avery (Connors State) went 13-21, 30 pts & 12 rebs
His season averages are 24 ppg, 11 rpg, 4 apg, and he's UNSIGNED, from Memphis (probably knows Darrell Brown), and has only four offers (Texas-Rio Grande Valley, Jacksonville State, UT-Martin, & Tennessee State)

in a subsequent game, Ty Lazenby of Northern Oklahoma- Enid,went 13-23 and scored 40pts...
He averages 23.4 ppg, and 36.5% from 3-pt on the season and was his Region's Player of the Year and likely to be named NJCAA All American
He is uncommitted and I cannot find a mention of even a single DII offer

Hutch's Samajae Haynes-Jones (a WSU signee), had 26 in that game on Wednesday. Juiston is getting big-time offers: Kansas, UConn, Iowa St., to name a few.

I saw he's been putting up some good scoring numbers, but with only one assist, I assume he's not playing point guard?

Ahmed Ali of Eastern Florida State...he is a junior college FRESHMAN (recruiting Class of 201
all he did in yesterday's game was go 8-11 from the 3-pt arc and scored 28 pts & had 4 assists.
But this guy isn't just a flash in the pan....he's been doing this kind of thing all season.
He's a 5-11 combo guard out of Canada, he's won the Player of the Week
..and he averages 16.2 ppg, 4.1 asst and 45.7% on 3-pt shooting... 82.1% on FT....averaging 8 3-pt attempts per game..


There's two more points that might be of interest on Ahmed Ali...

One of his coaches at Eastern Florida will be familiar to many - Cole Pittis - who was part of Geno's staff...that might make it less likely he'd favor Bradley...

As a senior in prep school he put up 103 points in a single game!!

Ahmed Ali was 4-8 from the arc and he won one of the two MVP Awards for the Finals
He was 17-33 (52%) from 3-pt in the four games of the tourney
