Stipo is not a banger and probably never will be. He is a wing player.

Try playing teams like Wichita, for example, without a big man. This is the type of team Bradley wants to grow into. I remember some 4-guard offenses but I have problems remembering a consistent use of a 5-guard offense. Even the sweet 16 team used three guards, a shooting forward, and a center, who argumentally has not been adequately replaced in the years since.

We don't have the type of shooters that Northern Iowa has had in playing their four-guard offenses.

Who ever said we would want to play without a big man, but Wichita does beat you with good shooting guards more often then not.
Hey, I'd love to be 3 or 4 deep with quality big men but can anyone name a few who are waiting for us to offer?
And the only team in our league that beat them this year played their center 6 minutes - and used mostly guards & wing players

Da coach had a whole list of juco players on another post that looked like had some big guys available.Did Bradley show any interest in any of them?

Agreed. He needs to bulk up if he is ever going to be effective inside. He may always be a shooter only?

I know, here's that list, but in that thread I made my concerns known regarding assessing a kid based only on numbers.
Some, like Pope have been committed at four schools in the last two years and if he commits to a 4-year school this spring, it'll be five schools in just 2 years! (HS, Murray State, Chipola, Southeastern IL - with strong suspicion academics plays a part)
Ding, Ding - alarms go off and prob explain why the kid has few offers.

Some of the better guys on that list are getting offers like KANSAS and other top schools - so they won't likely come to Bradley, some are already committed, some, like the guy playing at Bismark State, are playing at pretty a low level and STILL not averaging double digits (isn't that what we got into with Chris Blake?), and some (like Adarius Avery) are slender GUARDS and don't even belong on that list, and some (Kenny King) play for bad teams that are 5-26 and barely average 10 ppg hitting 38% of their shots from point blank range while averaging 3 turnovers (Chris Blake-like)

And in addition, I have reason to believe our staff has been to look at some of them... and note a few that have zero offers there's probably more to the story...

Who on the list would you want? Send an e mail to Coach Wardle!

As I have pointed out before - even the very worst teams in DI often have some guy who averages like 14-17 pts and 8-10 rebounds, but I am not sure I'd want them to transfer here.

Again, he is a wing player. He has good offensive skills. He can shoot from outside and drive to the basket. But he definitely not his uncle. He's not going to spend a lot of time in the paint posting up unless he's being guarded by a smaller player.

We do not have any confirmation that James Batemon III is visiting the Bradley campus. But I have heard there may be another junior college guard visiting Bradley this weekend.
