Last year, a new postseason tournament launched- The Vegas 16 Tournament. However, they struggled to fill their field, and eventually shrunk the tournament to just 8 teams. It was won by Old Dominion in 2016.
The Vegas 16 announced they still believe the tournament can become successful, but that it will not be held in 2017-
