It's early, but here is an article previewing Loyola for 2017-18, and projecting them as a team that could challenge for the top of the MVC. They have a pretty good transfer sitting out this year, a kid who is redshirting due to injury, and a couple promising recruits for next year. The only key player they lose is Milton Doyle-

I really wonder about this preview. Wichita State has their starting 5 coming back and ISU red has only 2 Srs on the latest roster. Loyola loses Milton Doyle who scored 35 on us.

Loyola would have to beat ISU and WS. I think this preview is a real stretch.

I will be surprised if a Fairleigh Dickinson transfer plus a 3ppg scorer coming off knee surgery can replace Doyle's loss
