Since we have had a discussion of the sit vs. stand issue, I thought this article was interesting. This kid from University of Arizona thought it was his right to stand during the game, while other season ticket holders behind him objected.
When he was asked to sit down by University police, and refused, the arena security handcuffed him, and escorted him out of the arena.
There is apparently a recognized appropriate time to stand, and it is not appropriate to stand full time.
Commander Kevin Haywood of the University police said, "He refused to stop standing even though the play of the game did not dictate that, which was not conducive to the dynamics of the game."
