MVC Championship Sunday- ISU vs. WSU

I want all MVC teams to win & keep winning...but the story this whole season has been that now the MVC finally has a little competition for the Shockers and their autobid isn't necessarily a gimme...

funny how they claim they'd like to see the Valley get stronger and give them a little competition and then the first year in many that they have exactly what they want and they're crying like babies.

We've had our ups and downs but I don't ever recall in my 50+ years of being a Braves fan - that we have ever been accused of crying like babies..
and we support our MVC teammates - just like we stood for Drake back when it mattered with the racial incidents..

Game time is here. Should be a slam banging hard fought game. Probably 60-40 Shocker fans. I think ISU has played a little better and if they don't let their nerves get the best of them I think the Redbirds are going to be victorious.

Wichita out to a quick 10-2 lead after 3 1/2 minutes. ISU looks pretty nervous.

I'm rooting for a good game. I really like both teams on the floor, hate both fan bases and don't really respect either coach. Hope both teams represent the Mo Valley in the Big Dance.

Things seem to be settling in with the Shockers up 16-11 with 11:30 left

Both centers for ISU with some trouble and Wichita trying to get the ball into Shaquille Morris with some success but Morris just picked up his 2nd foul as well. 24-16 with 6:40 left

ISU trying to come back but every time so far they either committ a turnover or miss FT's. Wichita leading 28-22 with 3:28 left

"HE PLAYED IN BELGIUM, ARGENTINA AND HAD A CUP OF COFFEE IN THE NBA"?

Can someone give me a link to Dan Muller's NBA stats?

That is said perfectly. For the sake of two teams in the tournament isu should win I think. But I just want an entertaining game and finish.

Wichita leads at the half 33-25. ISU not shooting or playing near as well as they did the last 2 days. Obviously they're facing a little bit better competition today but a couple of their guys are struggling. MiKyle McIntosh is 1 of 5 from the field and 1-4 from the FT line and while Paris Lee has 10 he is just 4-12 from the field. Conner Frankamp leads his hometown squad with 13. Wichita looks like a team who's been there before while ISU looks like a team who wants to be but hasn't.

I love watching Paris Lee on both ends of the floor.....that kid has a motor

Lee trying to bring back the Redbirds on both ends but just not getting enough help as the Shockers lead 43-33 with 13:52 to go in the game.

Big Jimmy,you say the shockers are a little bit better competition for ISU.The shockers are in another league here.Keep in mind they have no seniors,watch out next year.
