Junior Donte Thomas and sophomore Luuk van Bree were honored for their work off the court on Thursday as the duo was named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Second Team.

I continue to be impressed by both - especially Donte - since he's been thru a serious knee injury, a massive changeover of coaching staff & administration, several bad, losing seasons, and some heartbreaking losses....
..and yet he's an exemplary student-athlete..
