This feels like we're coming around the final turn at the Daytona 500 with me trying to hold off a fast closing field. I hope to block everyone's path to the checkered flag though. Could be one of the toughest pick em's yet as I think 4 of the games are toss ups so it's time to hit the gas and floor it to the finish line.

Wichita State - Missouri State has been a team that's been hard to figure out what they're going to do as they've only had 2 of their 17 Mo Valley games decided by more than 10 points. They have also lost 5 of their last 7. The Shockers, on the other hand, have only had 2 of their 17 Mo Valley games decided by less than 10 points and had a home game winning margin of 29 points. I think this is a more well rounded team than the Baker/Van Fleet teams.

Evansville - The Sycamores have won 4 of their last 6 games but for the life of me I just don't get it. They might have the least talented roster in the Mo Valley. While the Purple Aces have lost their last 2 games I think Jaylon Brown, the MVC's leading scorer, will help Evansville win at home.

ISU Red - Both teams are not playing as well as they did a few weeks ago. The Redbirds last 3 games have been decided by an average of 4 points while UNI has averaged scoring 54 points in their last 5. After winning 9 of their last 10 the Panthers have lost their last 2 and just seem to be on a downward trend. The Redbirds need to win to keep their NCAA at large birth chances alive and that should be enough to carry them through.

SIU - Both teams are really struggling. Loyola has lost 5 of 7 and SIU has lost 4 of 5. In this case I'm going with my tried and true method of when in doubt go with the home team.

BU - Drake has lost their last 8 games. We've finally won back to back games and we're playing our best basketball of the year. Seems like a no brainer. Oh boy.
