sparse, disappointing crowd

What is really disappointing is that the large middle side-court sections which are mostly reserved for the corporate sponsors are almost completely empty. The real fans are relegated to the much poorer seats high up on the corner sections of the stadium. Why can't the MVC do something that allows those seats to be used and filled with real fans if the corporate people don't bother to attend?
It is especially embarrassing for the rest of the country to see what looks like an extremely poorly attended tournament, when in fact the MVC is one of the best attended mid-major tournaments in the country. Unfortunately, the fans have such crappy seating areas, they aren't visible to those watching on TV.

That??™s exactly how I felt. Crowd wasn??™t bad (felt 3k-ish?) but it was dispersed between the corners, upper center, club seats, & skyboxes. The ends (no surprise) and low center (best seats in the house) were empty. The latter is what everyone sees on tv.

It's called Thursday night in St. Louis....Play in game..... the tournament technically doesn't start until Friday. There has NEVER been a good crowd for the play in round.

Sorry I didn??™t answer last night Da coach but I had no power on my phone after posting my picks. I was at the games last night and I thought even a little smaller than normal though I??™m sure that was because you had no Wichita fans. Didn??™t miss them at all.

Article by the Valparaiso beat writer. He was not in favor of Valpo leaving the Horizon League and joining the MVC, but the season's experience, along with Arch Madness, changed his mind, and now he loves the MVC-
