  • Final score: Bradley 77 MSU 68

Next game: Missouri State at Bradley, Wed. Feb. 22, 7:00 PM

This is the final home game, and it is senior night.
There are no seniors listed on the Bradley roster, however, Bradley has already announced that Alex Foster will be honored Wednesday night as a departing senior.
The Braves host Missouri State on Wednesday in the final home game of the season at Carver Arena. The team's Senior Night contest is slated to begin at 7 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN3.

That answers part of the question of where additional scholarships will come from. 2 senior basketball managers will also be honored.

    The game is on ESPN3.com

our key is to use whoever can stop Alize Johnson... make someone else take the shots

Johnson takes 1/5 of all their shots and grabs 1/3 of all their rebounds

Tonight will be tough. A loss might not change much, but a win would feel like a bit of a potential turning point to me. This young team has played well in bursts, but never really in back to back outings... definitely no BTB wins. A win tonight would possibly indicate a threshold being crossed in the mental toughness aspect, where we have been predictably weak thus far.

Donte Thomas has emerged as an x factor in my view. When he's I the game for 25-30 min we fare much better.
        Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

Brown has a boot on his ankle. Hurt it in pregame warmups.

Easily the best game from start to finish all season. Great job by the players and coaches. And it was without Bradley's top scorer. Maybe for some reason they play better in such a circumstance? Whatever the reasons, hope they can keep it up.

                      Positives:
                      Bradley shot 55.8%
Scored 77 points- 3rd highest point total in MVC games
Outrebounded MSU, a good rebounding team, 31-20- MSU was 2nd only to Wichita State in MVC games with an average of 37.2 rpg
20 assists for the game- maybe a season high?
Only 10 turnovers- likely the best assist/turnover ratio all season
                      34 bench points!
                      Forced 17 turnovers from MSU
                      Scored 22 points off turnovers
Scored 44 points in the paint

This was a lot of fun to watch. Kennell was great at the point. In complete control and handled the ball really great along w/ looking to score in the second half. Luuk was steady and is starting to show a much better offensive game. Not strictly a 3 point shooter as he is starting to get to the basket more along w/a nice pull up shot. Hodgson played another great game. His shooting was down but then MSU was covering him w/ bigger players. This opened up other guys which is why BU had 20 assists tonight.
Can't say enough about DT as he might not have scored but his "D" was instrumental in getting this win.
The key, again, in this game was they played as a "TEAM"
