What in the wide, wide world of sports is goin on here! I'm tied for 1st place? Really? Really? No pressure now huh?

Wichita - They keep on rollin.

ISU Red - The Redbirds have had a couple of close ones recently but they should pull this one out.

UNI - The Sycamores are the perfect tonic for the Panthers after getting it handed to them by Wichita.

Loyola - The Ramblers should prevail at home against a Drake team that is having a hard time finding a win.

Having a hard time picking the winner of Missouri State and Bradley. My heart is saying Bradley but my mind is saying Missouri State. My heart is saying we've had a couple of good games in the last few and we might finally be coming together. My mind says it's been 92 straight games, 58 straight in the Mo Valley, that Bradley has gone without winning back to back games. That's the next step we have to take if we're going to get this program heading in the right direction and that's what we're going to do as we come out on top on Wednesday. Might not be the smartest decision but I'm tired of picking against us.

As Aretha Franklin put it in the movie The Blues Brothers, "Best **** chicken in the state!" Though it'll taste a lot better if we can also do it with a win against Missouri State. The Braves will also decide who'll be in first place in the MVC Pick Em standings going into the final game. The only difference in the five games is that valleyclimber picked Missouri State and yours truly picked BU. Oh Oh.

I'll bet it tasted good! That was a great feeling. Maybe we are turning the corner a little bit each game. Next year we should be even better with experience. I like Hodgson and Kennel at point. Of course, I like Brown there too. Nice we have 3 players who can handle point guard. Last year, I do not think we even had one who could truly play the point.
