another incredible ending in a game last night...

#1 Virginia trailed Louisville by 4 points and had to inbound the ball with about 5 seconds left, 90 feet from their basket.

So obviously, if Louisville just stays the heck away from anyone in a Virginia jersey- they win this game and upset the #1 team in the nation!

But no, they decide to defend the Virginia player and FOUL HIM while shooting a desperate 3-pointer that couldn't and wouldn't have won the game anyway
BUT....
THE SHOT MISSES - so you still figure Louisville should win even after the Virginia player makes 2 of 3 free throws.

BUT once again, Louisville commits a brain fart and turns the ball over trying to inbounds, giving Virginia a buzzer beater THREE-POINT attempt that banks in for a 1-point win

What a turn of events!! Louisville has to be pre-occupied with the illegal stuff now exposed and the awful consequences that should result.

Incredible shot, but after the kid intercepts the long inbounds pass, he takes 6 or 7 steps before throwing toward his basket. That should have been a travelling violation.

It is also another good example why court-storming should be banned. Someone could have gotten seriously hurt in that stampede.

I agree, but I??™d hate to be one of those trying to stop it. That would be a way to get hurt in that stampede.
