  • Braves Reach Double-Digit Wins!

An up-and-down season, mostly with downs, but we got to 10 wins, which is double the count of 2016-'17.

Very nice final 15 minutes by the Braves.
D-Lo was the spark we needed - I feel he is still a big part to this team, and was an upside to a dismal season last year.

Hodgson continues to impress and be more than I expected.

Nice win vs the Aces - we seem to play some of our best hoops vs Evansville every season.

    Go BU!

Yes, after playing fairly well offensively in the first half, Bradley still found themselves down 38-34 at halftime due to some defensive lapses, and good shooting by Evansville.
Then Evansville pulled out to a 55-41 lead until Nate Kennell made a pair of free throws at 13:40 of the 2nd half to start Bradley's comeback. The offense looked totally confused those first 6+ minutes of the 2nd half, but then things fell into place after that. Bradley made 4 straight three pointers from 12:17 to 10:09 (one by Kennell, one by DLO, and 2 by Hodgson) to cut the deficit to 3 points. Then great defense, good shooting, and free throws put it away for Bradley.
I think fatigue may have hurt Evansville, since they play their starting five almost the entire game. They seemed to fall apart in the last 10 minutes.

Luuk had the best all-around game we've had from anyone in a long time...

5 pts, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks and extremely good defense....
