I was actually pleasantly surprised that we kept the final score to less than -15, and we were only down by 10 late in the 2nd half.

I didn't expect to win this game. The problem is, we are losing games I would have expected to win. I would rather we get blown out by 30 against ISU-Red and WSU and be out of the bottom four of the MVC. Now we will get the honor of either being beaten on Thursday (again) or somehow pulling a win on Thursday and being humiliated on Friday. In the word(s) of our current President - "Sad!" And a repeat of the past 6 years...

Other than free throws made the stats are pretty close......ISU didn't play well but I'm still a little surprised the stats are what they are

Now that we are in the second half of the schedule, have we lost to every team the second time we played them, even the teams we beat the first time?

once again - for long stretches - over the final 30 minutes of the game - we played them pretty equal but dug the impossible-to-overcome hole for ourselves in the first 5-10 minutes.
On one side - it seems this pattern is something we've yet to figure out
On the other side - just maybe once we get settled in - our guys & our talent can compete with most of the MVC and they're almost all just freshmen & sophs..

Pull it together and make a nice run thru St. Louis - or we start hoping for 2017-18

Just a 14 point loss to a team who was down a key player and played terribly. No moral victories allowed. This team is horrendous and by far the worst in the league. Even the Sycamores and Aces appear to have figured it out at least.
