Saint Louis bus driver DUI

College basketball seems to always have some funny stories...but this one is kinda unique...

Saint Louis lost last nite at St. Bonaventure..but the big news this morning is that the Billikens team got stranded at the arena & could not get back to their hotel or to the airport, when the bus driver took off & could not be located.

Later, 35 miles away...
"The 56-year-old female bus driver, Linda Edmister ... was suppose to take
them to their next destination (the airport). But instead left
...State police said the bus was eventually stopped in Randolph, New York,
about 35 miles from the arena

Edmister was administered a standard field sobriety test, which she failed.
She was arrested and is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated, police
say she had a blood alcohol level of .22. The minimum BAC ...if the driver is
operating a commercial the legal limit is .04.

Troopers tracked it down using GPS through an iPad the head coach left on the bus.
Edmister was ticketed for driving a commercial vehicle while intoxicated.

This was the game on FS MW prior to the BU game last night. Tough night for SLU as they were right with the Bonnies for most of the night until St. Bonaventure "woke up" and put them away. Then to get left at the gym!!! Yikes!!
