Not much skills practicing during a season, need a really strong
off season program with lots of shooting, weight lifting, and 5 on 5 practice.

Is it legal for Bradley MBB alum to work out with players off season, in the absence of BU MBB coaches being present... Someone who can push these guys and help them learn....

It will take another 1-2 recruiting classes in order for BU to make progress recruiting higher ceiling talent...

I would love to hear Ruffin was working with Brown.
I believe in this staff tho. I like what I'm seeing.

I'm hopeful of Childs and Stip .. Let's get the Kentucky kid to commit.we add McCloud, Play next season. Beef up what should be a solid frontline of Bar as a Jr , Barker and Luuk Srs, Childs a Soph, 3 Scholarships to work with. I think the backcourt at this time will be ready to win the Valley. Pitt DLO srs. Kennel Brown Jaydon Jrs. I'm expecting to be top 3 and have played for the Championship barring horrible luck. 2018 19 season I think it is.

IMO..we are MANY years (5+) away from competing for the Valley title.... UNLESS.... 1. Valley talent stays as low as it is right now.. or 2. We actually get some decent JC players to add to the mix. Otherwise....MANY years

I am not sure, but I think they can work out with people like former BU players, as long as it is done on their own, and not part of a practice session arranged by the coaches.

          Wiz

Turnovers, I think he needs to look to finish not create for others go up strong and score or get to the line.

Defense is a problem too. We gotta get him averaging more steals than turnovers.

I keep expecting him to bust out and start consistently giving us a lil bit of everything. Hopefully Wends is the beginning.

To get the program to the top 3 of the Valley we have to get past the point of hoping players can turn themselves around to be better. It's been 1 1/2 years now for most of our players. If they don't turn it around real soon they never will. Time is running out fast for them.

I get what you are saying but usually you have upperclassmen at the same time to help the learning process........I'm sure we will lose at least one or two more after the season is over though

                History

Does anyone else think Bradley basketball is history as we knew it?I think it may be time for Bradley to look at another conference that they can compete in.Maybe a conference with other private schools.I just think the big time supports are going to quit giving and the money is going to dry up.I would like to hear other thoughts.

What conference is even a viable option?
I think Bradley will stay in the MVC, and it would be a mistake to leave.

That may be but they are also gaining many minutes of playing experience they would not have with more upperclassmen. In fact if there were more upperclassmen they wouldn't be here.

I agree 100 %. In addition with the current condition of the program there isn't a conference they could go to and be a factor. Leaving the conference isn't an option. Dropping to DII may be if things don't turn around.

The new Northern Iowa AD "hints" at a possible time in the future they might make such a move to drop down in divisions...

"....dealing with the perpetual budget crunch in which UNI finds itself....

...“We found a way to be successful by maybe not having the resources that other places have,” (New UNI AD David) Harris said.
“For me, I don’t feel that can be our plan and vision for 10 years."
