One thing about another point guard is that they would not all be in the same class. However, as t mentioned players change schools for many reasons and we do have players that are far from home.

Yet another nice column about BU recruit David Sloan
David Sloan hauled in a kickout pass from Luguentz Dort, scanned the rim and buried a corner 3-pointer amid a close-out. Sloan's Conra...
His season is over now and his current team, 22-ft Academy, just finished in the Elite Eight of the 2017 "Prep School World Championship" that was won by Hillcrest Prep
In their next to final game, David Sloan hit the game-winner...
Other BU recruits that have their season finished include Ryan Stipanovich (signed), Gaven Pinkley, and Vance Johnson
...but Elijah Childs (signed) is still playing, as are Aaron Henry, Messiah Jones, and Michael Moreno
Note- several BU recruits & former recruits will be playing tonight for various schools - Lanphier, Simeon (Kezo Brown, Melo Burrell, Messiah Jones), Whitney Young (Xavier Castaneda), Morgan Park, etc... as IHSA Class 3A & 4A compete tonight in SectionalsLast edited by tornado; 03-14-2017, 03:10 PM.

Originally posted by tornado View Post.... there is a report from verbalcommits.com & elsewhere that we have offered Class of 2017 point guard David Sloan.....
He was very highly rated - getting "Power Conference" offers...then went changed schools several times and landed at prep schools in Florida...
and remained uncommitted 'til now..
But now he has signed with John A. Logan College (junior college) to play for 2017-18...
so it is pretty clear he is a non-qualifier at the DI level and needs to get an Associates Degree (junior college degree).
He will then become a 2019 recruit and I hope we stay after him!!

the John A. Logan (juco) freshman has played exceptionally well in preseason and exhibition games,
but in his first regular season game David Sloan went for 16 pts on just 8 shot attempts, 10 assists (to go with just 1 turnover), 4 rebounds 2 steals and a block
as his team won 110-64 all in just 20 minutes.
