    article on ISU
this writer seems to think ISU might be the new dominant team in the MVC..

Maybe, but it might be a little premature....long way to go...
I recall one year that Indiana State won their FIRST EIGHT GAMES, owned the #1 RPI in all of college basketball and were even given a preseason poll 1st place vote (by their own coach)...You'd have thought sure that was going to be their year, right??
Well, they lost their NEXT eleven games and 15 of their final 19 games to finish in LAST PLACE in the MVC race at 4-14 - in a season that the MVC sent four teams to the NCAA Tourney.

They refused to sell the few that were available for individual games, and used them as comps for special guests, and to attract new season-ticket buyers.
Then starting a couple years ago, after lots of season ticket holders dropped their tickets and a lot more seats in those lower sideline sections became available, But, they were concerned that if a lot of really good tickets were available on a game-by-game basis, then it would encourage more season-ticket buyers to drop out avoid the maintenance fee, and just buy tickets for each game individually. So AD Mike Cross decided to put the available tickets for individual games on Ticketmaster for sale to the public, but priced them high enough that it would not be an advantage to drop season-tickets and buy them individually.
Also, as a courtesy to the season-ticket buyers, who have to pay the big maintenance fee along with the jacked up ticket price, they decided to price the tickets roughly equivalent to what the season-ticket buyers pay per game.
So that $60 per ticket price is based on the total ticket price that season-ticket buyers pay for section 24 lower bowl seats- the "Silver" level ($390 per seat), plus their maintenance fee (minimum $700 donation), divided by the number of home games in the season-ticket package (16 games). That's why those are expensive.
Tickets in most other sections besides 24, 1, 2, 12, 13, and 14 are quite reasonable.
Seats in the "Courtside", "Premium", and "Gold" sections are not available individually.
You can likely just buy the cheapest tickets in the arena and walk down to any lower bowl area and find open seating. I sit 6 rows behind the visiting player's bench and there are plenty of open seats. If some season ticket holder arrives late to the seats that you are sitting, you should have no problem finding nearby seating available.

Nate Kennell was sick and missed practice Tuesday with a "stomach flu". He is still not feeling 100%, but is dressed and will play tonight.

Does anyone know what is wrong with the radio broadcast? I can't seem to get anything on WMBD.

Isu's defense has been outstanding. Paris lee in particular has been devastating to us. We are just overmatched.

                Halftime score:
                ISU 36
                Bradley 17

Bradley scores the last 6 points to cut the ISU lead to a mere 19 points.

I will hold back and not say everything I am really thinking, but if this is the best effort our team and coaching staff can come up with against our biggest rival, on our home court, with the biggest crowd of the season, and with 4 days to prepare, then we need to make major changes.
This is totally unacceptable, embarrassing, and an insult to Bradley fans and the many generous and loyal donors to the program. If this is what we are going to get, bring back Geno Ford.

I think you are giving ISU's defense way too much credit. What I am seeing is a totally inept team and staff that have no clue how to pass, shoot, or create an effective offense.

I just got home and came in at halftime. Nothing I can think of worse than coming in to see us getting killed by ISU and having the halftime analysis given by Danny Granger.

Two more years will be needed to compete vs good teams in the MVC. We don't have the right horses

Bringing in only the two players already recruited is not going to make much of a difference next year.

I just wanna say.... Bradley is probably playing with 7-8 "practice players" that wouldn't be on many D1 rosters because Wardle had to put a roster together coming in AFTER EVERYONE was taken. Then in year 2 he adds a couple decent players. Then in year 3 he will add a couple more. Etc.

So I do not have sharp criticism of the level of play we put on the floor.

                              I am patient.

                              I just wait.

As for ISU... crap, they just tore apart Wichita over the weekend. And they looked GOOD doing it. Not only did they look good... they ARE good. I would say THIS is where we would like to see Bradley at in a couple years.
