Really bad news for SIU

They have already lost starter Tyler Smithpeters for the year..
now their top scorer & top 3-pt shooter Armon Fletcher is out at least a couple weeks from a foot injury he sustained last week here at Bradley...

but it is suspected he might have a stress fracture that would likely end his season - he is scheduled for an MRI

SIU won Sunday over Drake without Smithpeters and Fletcher

There's a long discussion on the SIU board about whether to just plan to redshirt Armon Fletcher...

but it isn't even an option since he's already played 14 games, nearly half the season

btw- he's already voluntarily redshirted one year - so he only has two years left after this current season
