and the link to some pictures
The Bradley men's basketball team beat Evansville 74-63 in a Missouri Valley Conference game Wednesday at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.
the Evansville press has 3 stories - they kinda use a little alibi for losing, and talk about how a lot of their players have been ill this past week

that ill excuse doesn't fly......our guys were sick of the refs

well, it could be true that some of their players were sick, but heck, why not take advantage on the rare occasion that it benefits us...
It's happened the other way around dozens of times over the years with almost every key player from Anthony Parker to Phillip Gilbert to the Sweet 16 bunch to Warren, Sammy, Egolf, Ruffin, TB, etc...missing key MVC games due to injury/illness.
And yet the "experts" have always said "you can't use injuries/illness as an excuse.." -- unless you are Coach K or Calipari

Always nice to have some constants in one's life, like, MVC OFFICIATING STILL STINKS!
Great job Braves! Keep up the good shooting and effort on defense!BUilding for the Future

LOL, guess I didn't realize how pumped up I was about those foul calls...(and the way a couple of our guys play like they have mittens on)
some of the foul calls were fair but once the Evansville players realized the refs were giving them every call, Jaylon Brown, Howard, Ryan Taylor, Eaves, and others repeatedly just drove into the lane and forced the contact knowing it was gonna get them a couple FT's
In the end, their own plan to make hay from the FT line might have just taken them out of any offensive rhythm...
they kinda stopped passing and looking for good shots and started to bank on the refs helping them out...and in the end got few good looks while we shot 50%
