Now that 2016 is done, what does everyone think about the top Bradley basketball news stories?
Here's my take...lmk if you think there's other top news I should have included.
Honorable Mention: A whole year without seeing Joanne Glasser, Mike Cross & Geno Ford!!!! ...and Cubs win World Series!!
10- Summer success - the BU alumni nearly win National Championship! LINK
9- there haven't been many, but BU racks up a couple road wins LINK LINK
8- Bradley brings in new assistants- Ryan Sharbaugh & Troy Pierce
7- Bradley continues to have RECORD academic success - blowing away prior GPA's and Cumulative GPA's -plus enrollment decline ends!
6- Three players leave in spring & Bradley lands a number of spring signees- Merritt, McGlaston, Darrell Brown, Jr., Jayden Hodgson, Lou Griffith
5- Bradley lands two on the All Freshman squad, DLO & Luuk van Bree
4- Bradley lands commitments from Ryan Stipanivich & Elijah Childs
3- Bradley racks up 6 wins before end of December for the first time since 2012
2- Bradley beats the win total from prior year even before the end of December & nice crowd for the SIU win, hopefully fans come back!
1- For the first time in years, Bradley starts the MVC season and ends the calendar year by winning their FIRST Valley game and starting off 1-0 & tied for first place!
