I am watching the Indiana State-MSU game, and it is amazing how few fans are in the arena. I realize it is an early game, but I have been in that arena for Saturday early games in past years, and Missouri State used to nearly fill that arena to capacity. It is hard to believe that even with an improved team this year that they draw so few fans. Their official average so far through 8 home games is 3640, but today it appears there are less than 1000 actual fans in the arena.
Is anyone else impressed with Missouri State's Alize Johnson? This is the first I've seen him. He is listed at 6'9", and I don't think he is quite that tall, but he is dominating the game right now. He is extremely talented, handles the ball well, shoots well, and he is the leading rebounder in the Valley. He averages 13.1 ppg, 9.3 rpg, and shoots over 40% from three. I'm not sure how this kid didn't get recruited by major programs, but he looks like a 1st team All MVC player as a junior.
Missouri State leading 54-50 with 11 minutes left.
Box score for the Missouri State Bears vs. Indiana State Sycamores NCAAM game from December 31, 2016 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

MSU's Alize Johnson with an awesome stat line- 30 points and 15 rebounds
Brenton Scott lead INSU with 22 points.

I am very impressed with him also. I agree with first team , NCOY too. High energy guy. I think the Bears or ISU red knock Witch off the pedestal this year. Shoot shock might finish 3rd. I think they both win at home over the Shock and one of the two sends them home from St Louis and to the NIT.
