Let the coaches switch teams and see if there is a difference. Doubt it. No Bradley coach has ever had to completely rebuild a program the way Bradley's coach has. It hasn't been easy to recruit a player to Bradley like it was a few years back. We gave the last coach 4 years and he left the next coach, whoever it would have been, with a practically empty program. Bradley gave another coach 13 years and he had a below .500 MVC record.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

People! This is Year 2 of a complete rebuild unlike any previous Bradley coaching transition. We're 1-1 in conference. Our team is almost entirely freshmen and sophomores, and not the 5-star recruits like Kentucky. What would anyone expect going into Wichita in Year 2 of a complete rebuild?

      That being said . . .

Our slow starts have got to stop. Period. I don't know what is causing them -- unpreparedness on the part of coaches, players, or both -- but c'mon guys, play with confidence, pride, and toughness . . . nail some shots out of the starting gate . . . and above all, take care of the ball!

And I agree with the previous comment about Suggs. In fact, why not start him to mix things up? Is it because our current starters have mastered the task of starting a game with fire in their bellies, ball control, and incredible exhibitions of shot making?

We're 1-1 in league. If we beat the teams we're capable of beating in Year 2 and stay out of Thursday night, we're heading in the right direction.

Bradley now has 44 turnovers through 2 MVC games (compared with a total of 39 field goals). The next highest turnover total is Drake and Evansville with 32 each. Also, Bradley has just 22 assists through 2 games, giving them a 0.5 assist to turnover ratio, by far the worst in the MVC. And their turnover margin is -12.0 per game. No team in the MVC is worse than -4.5 per game.

Bradley has now given up 50 points off turnovers (38 to WSU and 12 to SIU) in their 2 MVC games (average of 25 points off turnovers per game).
It is hard to overcome giving away an average of an extra 25 ppg to your opponent and win many games.

In the full season stats, Bradley now has 233 turnovers and ranks a distant 10th in the MVC behind Drake's 202 turnovers.

I didn't know it was that bad. To me, it looks like they aren't having any fun. There is not much talent on this team and they seem to playing "to not make mistakes".

Don't you think players will make it look that way though? Their program is just light years ahead of ours right now and probably will be as long as Marshall is there...

I was driving all day so I didn't get to watch it.......sounds like I didn't miss much

I agree.....I don't know if it will better in year 4 or not but you gotta give Wardle the time to see....he did literally start late and virtually from scratch...not many coaches start like that
